The city of Pleasanton requested a design for a site promoting downtown life and commerce. In order to secure funding and establish a full project budget, they commissioned JH Media Group to do a full information architecture and a design for the home page. The final home page design is below, which helped secure a contract for the full site (currently in development).

The Economic Development Foundation approached my firm with a unique design problem: How do we stand out from all of the other cities competing for companies' investment attention? To answer the question, I set out to design a site that was solidly professional, yet hinted at Athens' unique college town atmosphere.
The site has not yet publicly launched.

As a technology startup that seeks to connect doctors with patients via videoconferencing, Smart House Calls brought several challenges to the table when they sought a site from my company. To sell a complex product to two distinct types of customers (patients and doctors) I created clear, targeted paths for them both to follow. With an emphasis on demonstrating the product through photos and demo clips, and supporting that with text and contact tools, Smart Housecalls is well on its way to becoming a successful business.

Boardwalk is a small startup with a big idea: Investing in companies that care about sustainability is good for your bank account. They needed a site that explained the services they offer, and made it easy for clients to get in touch with them. Leveraging social media was also a priority, since they already had an active blog and twitter following.

As financial planners for high income clientele, Elwood & Goetz requested a clean design that matched their preexisting branding and emphasized the personal attention they give to every account. The simplicity of the design betrays the complexity required to make a large amount of information feel effortless to browse. In the end, I wanted users to feel relaxed and taken care of when using the site in a way that mirrored the feeling of walking into Elwood & Goetz's brick and mortar offices.
